Chris Ferre ...Bringing Yet Another Musical Journey of Wonderment

Inspired by his Cherokee heritage, North Carolina singer/songwriter Chris Ferree released his first Native American CD in 2007 titled Invocation.

The result was a ten song collection of instrumentals reflecting the spiritual journey of a man looking into his past trying to find a way of understanding the present.

Chris’s second Native American offering Overflow draws inspiration from historical events and the stories of yesterday joined with a hopeful vision of what tomorrow. Overflow is an act of worship, creating an emotional and melodic atmosphere of sounds.

Now with the release of his latest CD Walks Between Worlds he is set to take us on yet another journey .. make sure you check this talented Brother out.  You will be inspired and delighted as the music takes you to places of imagination and beyond.

Chris also has his site Red Hands co-op
which is dedicated to another artistic side of his soul...

Ryan Little Eagle

This young man is destined to show the world just who he is! His music is more than beginning to take shape. Mark my words folks, Ryan Little Eagle is a name you will be hearing more and more of.

Ryan is Lakota/Apache mix blood from the Hill Country of Texas.  At the age of 1 Ryan was given the Lakota name Wambli Cikala (Little Eagle). Ryan spent most of his early life in San Antonio where he was able to learn the ways of his ancestors from his Grandmother.
When Ryan turned 16 he met a Hidatsa Elder that went by the name Mato. From there Ryan started to get involved in the local Pow Wows. At the Powwow in Bandera, Texas, Ryan picked up a Harjo cane flute.
He played this flute as if he had been playing for years. Ryan is a natural with the flute.

In this song, "Mama's Love" he thoughtfully yet powerfully tells a story, and shares what is in his heart with all of us.

Michael Bucher visits the Wolf and the bear Network

Tuesday Michael stopped in over at Coffee House Journeys and chatted it up with Joseph Strider and David Little Eagle..as the hour rolled on he shared his thoughts and passion for the "You Are Not Alone Network" the site that Patrick Doyle, Black Bear and himself created for suicide prevention awareness.

A mission that is forefront in his heart, to help our native youth and all people who are feeling lost.  It is a place to go for networking and direction to help.

Then Michael stopped in with Donald Blackfox and Christy Sargent at the Spirit Wind Cafe on friday...and shared with everyone his new tune "Dark Horse" written and recorded by Michael.  And I will say it here, this si Michael Bucher at his best!!!!! Coming soon with guest
Duane Deemer "WindHorse"

"COWBOY" And “ WINDHORSE” in Nashville -- which should tell you something in a city that is populated with men in boots and cowboy hats. Duane leaves an impression, and is not easily forgotten. He literally stands head and shoulders above the crowd and despite of his rough around the edges, hardcore cowboy reputation he has gained the reputation as one of the kindest and most humble guys around. As much for his attitude and work ethic as for his talent, Duane has become a favorite among musicians and songwriters from all walks of life. His Choctaw and Cherokee Indian heritage has played a strong role in inspiring the way he looks at life, and the way that he lives it every day. Duane is known as Wind Horse by his Cherokee family and honors his Native American heritage in the songs he sings and writes and by the way he lives life everyday. Look for his new upcoming Native American album entitled ..Wind Horse.. with all self penned songs honoring spirit and his Native American Heritage. His deep passion and love for life and living it can be felt in his song lyrics and his live performances.
